New and rapidly-growing competitors forced Coffee House, one of Finland’s first café chains, to come up with a story that would make people visit their cafés again and again. After several collaborative workshops, we had a story.Then, we turned the story was into a visual identity that speaks directly to the Instagram generation.
The story’s promise is Our House is Your House – a café for people who want to meet friends outside the home, but feel at home anyway.
That’s why the Coffee House story is warm-hearted and always speaks like it would to an old friend. The brand story comes alive when its staff meets customers through advertising, logotypes, interior design and product packaging.
The consumers have received the brand well. The careful branding has also been praised internally for making decision-making easier, when staff can now make all decisions based on the chosen guidelines.
